BASICC

BASICC is a European program run by a consortium of universities, vocational training organizations and community organizations in common spaces. The activities developed by the consortium organizations aim to support the professionalization of commons spaces and the training of learners and workers active in this field.

Part of BASICC's work consists of building a training program to develop learners' reflexive skills, based on the experience of action research carried out by organizations in the consortium. This is the aim of the two weeks of activities proposed in Istanbul.

The program was prepared by Yeditepe University (Istanbul), Asilo (Naples, Italy) and Coop'Eskemm (Rennes, France). Participants include Turkish students mobilized by Yeditepe, Italian students mobilized by Asilo, German students mobilized by Alte Mu, Belgian learners mobilized by Communa and French students mobilized by Plateau Urbain and Coop'Eskemm. The team of a French university diploma on the subject of common spaces is also involved (Association Yes We Camp and Agence Ancoats).
